Three scientists have won the Nobel prize for successfully using the protein of jellyfish to analyse cells in other living organisms. The protein is responsible for the green glow in jellyfish, a phenomenon that occurs when they are brought under ultraviolet light. The protein when put in other living organisms can now be used to identify different cells since they have been able to make it glow in different colors depending on what type of cell. The achievement may be a turning point in alhzhemier's disease research projects.
